Good questions.
A warm welcome.
Everything you might want to know before your first hola. And if your question isn’t here, just ask Paz.
Getting started
Your first steps, without the guesswork.
I’m a complete beginner. Can I join?
Yes. Lessons are tailored to your level, including complete beginners. In your introductory meeting, tell Paz where you’re starting and ask how an immersive Spanish lesson will work for you.
What happens in the free meeting?
You’ll have 20 minutes to meet Paz, talk about your level and goals, and ask questions about classes. It’s an introductory conversation rather than a full lesson, with no commitment to book.
How do I arrange my first meeting?
Send Paz a message on WhatsApp with a little about your goals and when you might be available. You’ll agree on a time directly.
Are classes available for children and teenagers?
Yes. Paz offers classes for adults, teenagers and children. If you’re enquiring for a child, share their age, level and learning goals so you can discuss a suitable format.
Your lessons
A little more about how we’ll learn together.
Are the lessons online or in person?
All lessons take place online via video call.
How long is a lesson?
Individual lessons last 50 minutes. For family and small-group classes, discuss the session duration and format with Paz before booking.
Will we speak Spanish throughout the class?
Yes. The teaching approach is immersive, with classes conducted in Spanish and adapted to your level. If you’re new to the language, use the introductory meeting to ask how you’ll be supported.
What will we work on?
Lessons bring together conversation, practical grammar and everyday Spanish. Your level, interests and goals help shape what you work on, whether that’s travel, daily life or expressing yourself more comfortably.
Can I learn with a friend or family member?
Yes. Family and small-group options are available. Tell Paz how many people would like to join, their ages and levels, and what you’d like to achieve together. You can then discuss a format and availability.
The practical details
Make sure everything feels right before you book.
How much do classes cost?
Contact Paz for current prices and the class format that suits you before deciding to book.
What lesson times are available?
Available times are agreed directly with Paz. Share your preferred days, times and time zone when you get in touch, so you can check what works for both of you.
What do I need for an online lesson?
You’ll need a device that supports video calls, an internet connection and working audio. A quiet place where you can comfortably speak and listen will help. Ask Paz about any lesson materials before your first session.
What if I need to change or cancel a lesson?
Ask Paz about the current cancellation and rescheduling conditions before booking. If your plans change, contact her directly to discuss your lesson.
Still wondering about something?
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Bring your questions to Paz.
